Taylor is the Coordinator, Finance and Operations at the Climate Risk Institute. She has worked in the fields of climate adaptation and disaster resilience for 8+ years including roles in operations, communications, research, management, and design. Previously she has had the opportunity to work in these areas with academic research centres, municipalities, First Nations communities, and non-profits, in both Ontario and British Columbia.

Taylor recently completed the Master of Landscape Architecture program at the University of British Columbia where she was particularly interested in designing engaging public spaces that are resilient to climate change and extreme weather. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts and Business from the University of Waterloo, where she majored in Peace and Conflict Studies. 

At CRI, Taylor provides cross-functional support to the Manager, Corporate Operations for financial management and bookkeeping, operations support, administrative assistance, and corporate communications.
