Jane Zhang

Jane Zhang leads product and systems work at CanAdapt at the Climate Risk Institute. She supports the design and coordination of digital tools that connect local governments, peer networks, and community groups working on climate solutions.

She helps turn complex needs into practical workflows, builds infrastructure for learning and documentation, and supports alignment across teams. Her work focuses on making climate adaptation tools more accessible, transparent, and grounded in the realities of local practice.
With experience in government, nonprofit, and tech sectors, Jane brings a background in systems thinking, human-centered design, and ethical tech. She cares deeply about co-creating inclusive spaces that support reflection, collaboration, and real-world action.
Based out of Toronto, ON, Jane is forever interested in the next new hobby and is a devoted mom to a brood of dogs, cats and birds. She can often be found at the local dog park, petting and making friends with all the dogs.
