Charlynne Robertson, PMP

Charlynne Robertson is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Project Manager at the Climate Risk Institute, where she leads Canadian-focused initiatives that strengthen coastal resilience and professional capacity for climate adaptation. She currently manages the development of the Coastal Communities Adaptation Toolkit and a Publicly Available Specification (PAS) for Coastal Options Appraisal, and contributes to the Professions Advancing Adaptation Competencies (PAAC) project, which supports interdisciplinary climate action across engineering, planning, accounting, and landscape architecture.
Charlynne brings over a decade of experience in nature-based solutions and ecosystem restoration in freshwater, coastal, and marine environments. She has worked extensively with municipalities, provincial agencies, and communities, and is committed to integrating diverse perspectives and ways of knowing into adaptation planning. Prior to joining CRI, she led the development and delivery of programs at Clean Foundation that supported ecosystem restoration, coastal park management, and infrastructure resilience through home retrofit initiatives—integrating climate considerations into projects.
Charlynne holds an Honours BA in English Literature from York University and a diploma in Ecosystem Management from Fleming College. She lives in rural Nova Scotia and enjoys hiking, beach days along the Northumberland Strait, and exploring the outdoors with her family and two energetic dogs.
