Sneha Praveen, BES, MCC

Sneha is an Analyst specializing in Climate Adaptation and Resilience at the Climate Risk Institute. She recently graduated from the University of Waterloo’s Master of Climate Change program and brings knowledge and experiences in the field of climate change, particularly in the areas of climate adaptation, mitigation, climate science and education, climate equity issues, and disaster risk reduction. She has a variety of work experiences through co-ops and internships which involved policy work, climate research and information dissemination, environmental consulting and field work, sustainability coordination, and climate education.

In her current role, Sneha leverages her data management skills, research and content curation abilities, social media marketing and communications acumen, event support capabilities, and community engagement expertise to contribute to CanAdapt networks. In her free time, she enjoys singing with her family, going on nature walks, cafe hopping, and visiting museums!
