Steph is the President of the Climate Risk Institute. She is an accomplished business leader and an award-winning professional planner dedicated to leading sustainability and climate initiatives. Her expertise lies in strategic leadership, sustainability and climate planning, collaboration and engagement, capacity-building, and governance.

Steph’s commitment to fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement will be instrumental in advancing the institute’s mission to enhance climate resilience through best practices and capacity-building. She brings a wealth of experience from working with government, not-for-profits, universities, and the private sector, valuing interdisciplinary approaches and diversity in partnerships.

She strongly believes in continuous professional development, having augmented her Master of Environmental Design (Planning) with certifications in Consensus Decision-making, Mediation, Arbitration, Facilitation, and Team Coaching.

Recently, Steph relocated to her hometown of Kelowna, BC with her husband, two sons, and their four-legged companion. Outside of work, she enjoys all the activities that the Okanagan has to offer, including camping, fishing, skiing, and kayaking.
