Jazmin Vargas Najera, BSc, MCC (candidate)

Jazmin is a Climate Change Adaptation Intern at the Climate Risk Institute. As a Master of Climate Change candidate at the University of Waterloo, she strives to unpack complex questions while bridging social equity and climate change adaptation. Jazmin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Community and Environmental Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her educational background and immigrant journey from Mexico to the U.S and now Canada have made her aware of the inter-dynamic processes that go into developing climate resilience.

Jazmin lives in the Region of Waterloo, where she enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring new places.
