Alyssa is a Climate Adaptation and Resiliency Analyst with the Climate Risk Institute. Alyssa holds a Bachelor of Medical Sciences Degree from Western University and a Masters in Climate Change from the University of Waterloo. In addition to studying the complexities of climate change mitigation, adaptation, and governance in Canada, she has also volunteered with initiatives related to climate action, sustainability, and equality. This has sparked her interest in community adaptation strategies and how adaptation is closely related to social justice, skills she hopes to grow at the CRI.

In her spare time, she enjoys working on her podcast “the Tiny Activist,” thrifting, rock climbing, and staying active.
