Megan Gereghty: Climate Change Adaptation Planner 

CRI is thrilled to announce the hire of Megan Gereghty in the role of Climate Change Adaptation Planner. Megan is a Registered Professional Planner and a full member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and the Ontario Professional Planners Institute. Megan brings to CRI over 9 years of professional planning and three years of project management experience in both the private and public sectors. Megan’s contributions will include the management and support of individual CRI projects as well as a leading role in the development and delivery of climate change adaptation training for planners.

Claire Sanders: Adaptation Extension Liaison 

CRI is thrilled to announce the arrival of Claire Sanders as the newest addition to the CRI team. Claire brings to CRI over 7 years of experience implementing climate action through the coordination of multi-stakeholder partnerships with federal, provincial, and municipal governments, as well as academia, industry and First Nations communities. As Adaptation Extension Liaison Claire will communicate and work with Canadian and international stakeholders to support and advance climate change vulnerability and risk assessment and adaptation planning. Drawing upon her considerable background in the natural sciences, Claire will contribute to CRI’s focus on nature-based solutions.
