Claire is the Manager of Engagement and Communications with the Climate Risk Institute. Claire is currently supporting the development of the CanAdapt, including engaging Canadian professionals in climate resilience through CRI’s practitioner networks. Before joining CRI, she facilitated multi-stakeholder partnerships across southern Ontario with a focus on addressing complex regional ecological and climate change challenges. Along with launching an energy plan to mitigate climate change across seven municipalities, Claire established a regional climate collaborative that included frameworks for assessing climate risk and vulnerability across various sectors. She also has a decade of experience working in the non-profit sector across Canada, focused on natural heritage conservation and environmental education. Claire lives with her husband and daughter in one of the most southern communities in Canada, Kingsville Ontario, and shares her love for Lake Erie with anyone who will listen.
