Carol Aziz, Ph.D., P.Eng.
Carol is a Project Director with the Climate Risk Institute. She has 25 years of consulting experience directing and managing a wide array of environmental projects in the areas of environmental and climate risk, groundwater and stormwater monitoring and treatment, and environmental software development. She has led teams of environmental professionals and delivered training sessions on climate risk assessment, project management, and environmental software.
At CRI, Carol is focused on delivering climate and engineering risk assessment projects, contributing to the Infrastructure Resiliency Professional (IRP) training program, developing new risk frameworks, tools, and training services, and fostering private and international partnerships.
Dr. Aziz holds a Ph.D. in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. She is certified by GARP in Sustainability and Climate Risk and was trained as a climate communicator through The Climate Reality Project.
On summer weekends, she can be found paddling along the shores of Georgian Bay in her kayak.
