Abstract: In Ontario, the updated Ontario Public Health Standards acknowledge the importance of addressing climate change, and through the Healthy Environments and Climate Change Guideline, have mandated health units across the province to take appropriate, evidence-informed action to understand and minimize the negative health impacts of climate change. In response, health units are now actively planning for climate change. In this webinar we heard from two projects, based in different health units, covering different regions in Ontario. This webinar provided an opportunity to hear about intersections between health and climate, and speakers explored the links between municipal climate change planning and health outcomes
